Greetings from Robbi

Hello everyone,

Life and the Blossoming Heart have taken us here there and everywhere around the world since the last newsletter.

We were in China and the USA twice last year and we are delighted to be returning to the states in October and we are thrilled to announce that I will be teaching Aromatic Kinesiology for the first time in Canada in late October / November.

Visiting Canada had been on Jim's wish list for a very long time so he is very excited!

I am not long back from Ireland, where we launched a very successful Aromatic Kinesiology Level Three - The Path of Stillness

We introduced 4 new essential oil reflections - Bay Laurel, Roman Chamomile, Mandarin and Spikenard which I will be introducing in the newsletter in the coming months.

Aromatic Kinesiology Level Three will be launched for the first time in Melbourne Australia next year 29 April - 1 May 2011.

I know this seems long way off, however our schedule is keeping us busy elsewhere until that time, and as time races along these days we will be into next year before we know it. Nothing like planning ahead!

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joins us for the workshops, as each and everyone of you brings something very unique to the classes, making our time together so richly rewarding.

Currently, my thoughts and endeavours are turning towards our touring season in Italy, Turkey and Provence so there is much to do at the moment. And yet in the quiet times, I have been reflecting on the pleasure of simply being at home in the country over the summer, tending to our 5 acres and lingering over lazy summer lunches with dear friends.

And now, suddenly Autumn has arrived which is always such a joy in Provincial Victoria. With the colour of the turning leaves leaving a blazing a red trail, they dramatically herald the arrival of a new season.

Long country walks in the crispness of the early morning, followed by cosy wood fires at night make this a special time of year for me.

I certainly make the most of it as we are off to Europe very soon.

Aromatic Kinesiology Level 2 - The Path of Nurture

Anyone who has attended the Aromatic Kinesiology Level One ( The Path of Beauty ) last year at any of the venues is welcome to join us at a beautiful location in St Petersburg, right on the beach. My kind of place! Great for learning, relaxing and rejuvenating.

We will be continuing the journey of listening to your beautiful heart, Aromatic Kinesiology Level Two ( The Path of Nurture ) deepens the understanding of working with essential oils and the emotions.

I look forward to seeing many of you again, hearing about how you have been working with The Blossoming Heart and sharing in many heart-felt delights.

The Blossoming Heart in Canada

Rae Dunphy Aromatics is co-ordinating our visit to Canada later in the year. We will be teaching classes in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver. We have many bookings already for AK One - The Path of Beauty. I am so excited to finally be coming to Canada as The Blossoming Heart has been extremely popular there. Thank you, thank you, thank you Canadians for supporting this beautiful work of the heart. I will be delighted to welcome you to the workshops and I am so looking forward to meeting many of you.

I first met Rae when she attended our Bali Womens Retreat - magic happened for everyone in that very special week several years ago - and I am honoured to be working with Rae to bring this heartfelt aromatherapy program to Canada.

Adopt a Moon Bear

Our dear friend and colleague Sal Rodd, who is Robbi’s fabulous assistant during our Bali Women's Retreat has long been interested in the plight of the Moon Bears in China.

These beautiful bears are incarcerated in a coffin-sized cage on a farms in China or Vietnam, where they are being milked for their bile through an open catheter wound. This cruel practice based on traditional practices is gradually being phased out through the activities of Jill Robinson and her amazing team at Animal Asia’s Moon Bear Sanctuaries.

Sal has created a website www.adoptamoonbear.com to focus awareness and gather financial support for the work of releasing and recuperating Moon Bears and all money gathered will go towards the adoption and extensive veterinarian care of each bear once rescued. It also gives us the privilege of naming each Moon Bear. The first bear now being rescued has been named “Jigsaw”.

As part of our Aroma Tours annual tithing we are supporting Sal’s Adopt A Moon Bear project.

Bali Women's Retreat

Sharing the sacred, nourishing and nurturing week of our Bali Women's Retreat is one of the highlights my travels each year and our groups of lovely women from around the world never fail to be enchanted by the gentle spirit of the Balinese people and the beauty of this lush green paradise.

Provence Aromatherapy Retreat 2010

Our Provence Aromatherapy Retreat next year will be focusing on skin care and wellbeing. We are very excited and delighted to announce that Mindy Green formerly of Aveda ( USA ) and Megan Larsen of Sodashi Skin Care ( Australia ) will be joining us in our tiny village amongst the lavender fields of the Haute Provence. This will undoubtedly be an awesome week of enhanced learning and practical applications.

For people who have attended the retreat in the past and desire a return visit to our lovely little village surrounded by glorious lavender fields this will be an entirely new curriculum devoted to skin!
